Books & Beyond is a Mountain Marketplace located in Old Town Chester, at the base of Lassen Peak in Lassen Volcanic National Park and near the shores of
Lake Almanor in Northern California.

Books & Beyond features a local general category bookstore from classics to new releases, non-fiction, hiking, biking, local history and guide books, a children’s book room, The Back Room Art Gallery, Clothing & Threads, Dry Cleaning Services, PLUS Free Wireless Internet Access.
We are pleased to announce that our store has become an Authorized UPS Shipping Outlet. As we have approached our 10 year anniversary, we have seen the need to expand the type of services that we offer our local community. So, to our traditional retail inventory, art gallery and dry cleaning services we have now added shipping, copy and print services and public computer access.
